The hiking trail from Valsegg to the Nockalm is well groomed.
Our lodge is located right next to the ski slope which leads down to the Valles valley.
Every Tuesday our lodge is open to ski tourers and snowshoe hikers until 23.30.
Buckle on your skis or snowshoes! Our warm “stube” and delicious dishes are waiting for you. Well rested and strengthened you descend back into the valley under the wintry starry sky. It’s a unique experience!

General situation
The air masses are very warm, and the atmosphere remains unstable.
The day will start with variable cloud cover, with the last of the thunderstorms bringing showers to the north of South Tyrol. The skies will clear as the morning progresses, and with the sunshine, a few heat-induced thunderstorms will develop again in the afternoon and evening. A northerly foehn wind will pick up in some valleys.
The maximum temperatures are well above average, reaching 27° in Sterzing, where the Föhn is blowing, and 36° in Bolzano.

Sunday will bring high-summer conditions with sunshine and localised thunderstorms in the afternoon.
On Monday morning, there will be glorious sunshine, but a few thunderstorms will develop again in the afternoon.
Tuesday will also bring plenty of sunshine in the morning, after which thunderstorms are likely again.
Wednesday will bring plenty of sunshine, with only a slight increase in the likelihood of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
