The hiking trail from Valsegg to the Nockalm is well groomed.
Our lodge is located right next to the ski slope which leads down to the Valles valley.
Every Tuesday our lodge is open to ski tourers and snowshoe hikers until 23.30.
Buckle on your skis or snowshoes! Our warm “stube” and delicious dishes are waiting for you. Well rested and strengthened you descend back into the valley under the wintry starry sky. It’s a unique experience!

General situation
With a strong north-westerly flow, moist air masses continue to reach the main Alpine ridge.
In the afternoon, the weather will remain unsettled in the northern parts of the region with lots of clouds and some snowfall. Towards the south, the clouds will break up and it will be sunnier. Foehn winds will blow in some valleys.
Maximum temperatures will range between 4° and 13°.

There will be little change in the general weather situation. A strong north-westerly flow will continue to determine the weather over the Alps.
At first, the sun will shine in many places. During the day, clouds will increase from the north-west, and a few snowflakes are possible on the main Alpine ridge.
Temperatures will reach highs of 4° to 11°.

Forecast
Thursday will be very cloudy, with rain and snow spreading across the whole region from the south in the morning. Initially, it may snow in many valleys, but the snow line will rise to 1000 m during the day.
On Friday, the clouds will break up and, with Föhn winds it will be sunny, especially in the south.
On Saturday, thicker clouds will reappear and the sun will only shine intermittently. During the day, snowfall will start in the north.
On Sunday, the northern parts of the region will continue to see many clouds and some snowfall. The weather will be friendlier towards the south.
