The hiking trail from Valsegg to the Nockalm is well groomed.
Our lodge is located right next to the ski slope which leads down to the Valles valley.
Every Tuesday our lodge is open to ski tourers and snowshoe hikers until 23.30.
Buckle on your skis or snowshoes! Our warm “stube” and delicious dishes are waiting for you. Well rested and strengthened you descend back into the valley under the wintry starry sky. It’s a unique experience!

General situation
Milder and drier air will spread into the Alpine region from the west.
Dry conditions persist across South Tyrol with a mix of some sunshine and thicker cloud at times. Patches of fog in the Pustertal and Eisacktal will gradually clear.
Following early morning temperatures around freezing, afternoon highs will rise to between 8° and 14°.
Mountain weather
Milder and drier air will spread into the Alpine region from the west.

General situation
A northwesterly upper-level flow will bring moist Atlantic air towards the northern side of the Alps. South Tyrol will lie in the lee of the Alps and remain slightly favoured.
Conditions will stay variably cloudy, with generally fair weather prevailing in the south. Cloud cover will be most persistent along the main Alpine ridge, where a few spots of light rain are possible. Föhn conditions will develop in the Vinschgau.
Morning temperatures will be around or just above freezing, rising during the day to between 9° in the Gadertal and 16° in the Unterland.

Forecast
On Tuesday, conditions will remain variably to mostly cloudy with locally föhn winds. In the north, from the upper Vinschgau through the Wipptal to the Pustertal Valley, light rain is possible during the morning, with the snow line between 1300 and 1700 m. In the southernmost parts of the region, generally fair conditions will prevail.
On Wednesday, after the dissipation of local fog patches, mostly bright sunshine and largely cloudless skies are expected.
Thursday will again be mostly sunny with spring-like temperatures.
No significant change is expected on Friday, with sunshine from morning to evening.
